Leopard’s Leap

On the La Motte wines estate of Western Cape is situated Leopard’s Leap, a winery that is fast gaining recognition as a novel brand of South Africa. The wines produced under this label are easy on the palette, making them popular choices for all occasions.

Presently, Leopard’s Leap has three ranges in its portfolio – a Family Collection, a Classic range and for those that love having a gala time – the Lookout range. All are well balanced products that blend with any meal; the fruity taste with the hint of lime and soft aftertaste reminding you of the sunny, exuberant spirit of South Africa.

The excellent collection of quality wines are attractively priced – a factor that has contributed to their popularity the world over. Initially intended for export to the United Kingdom, Leopard’s Leap exports to 25countries as of 2010, with plans for future expansion. As a result of the innovative approach of proprietor Hein Koegelenberg, Leopard’s Leap is now venturing into the art of concocting wine cocktails with its wine blends.

True to its name, Leopard’s Leap is partial to the predator – a Cape Leopard Trust has been set up to help conserve the diversity of the leopard while promoting safe tourism initiatives.
