This is 100% Pinotage with 14% alcohol content and it rests in French Oak for six to eight months.  The wine goes very well with light meat and sea foods. Diemersfontein Pinotage:

 

This is a superb tasting wine with dark chocolate backdrop that subtly plays with hints of plum and mint aroma that drifts in and out with each sip. The ageing is done in stave oaks and the grapes arrive from six different farms to blend superbly for the unique taste. It agrees very well with salmon, venison and even chocolate mousse. 

 

Kanonkop Pinotage:

 

The first thing that you notice about the Kanonkop is the classic dry finish for a wine that may mature up to fifteen years before seeing the light of day. This complex full bodied wine that complements hearty meals of red meats and fiery Asian cuisines is just perfect for foodies. It can sit pretty for eight to ten years in a bottle.

 

 Leopards Leap Pinotage-Shiraz:

 

The Leopards Leap Pinotage-Shiraz is a cheerful, peppery, spicy well balanced red wine that surrounds the nose with hints of mulberry, plum and vanilla. It works very well with liver, stews, cold meats and quiche. Comes in affordable range and is also popular as a stand alone wine.

 

Stellenrust Pinotage:

 

The flavors that strike you immediately are raspberry, ripe peach and dark cherry that intermingles in a subtle blend to offer memories of oak touch with warmth that caresses the palate as the taste lingers long after it has traveled down the delicate throat of a mademoiselle. The house of Stellenhurst has been growing these fabulous grapes in vineries since the year 1928 and it has earned quite a name for itself.

This wine has easy access and carefully balanced. A rich delightful typical Pinotage sweetness greets you with layered hints of wood not too far away. Complex mix ripe fruits hit the nose and the finish is spicy and lingering, inviting another round of the glass clinking and sharing for good times. Plum garnet color beckons you to its sweetness.
