Hunter's Gold was launched in 1988 as one of the first alternatives to beer within the South African liquor market. Following the resounding success of Hunter's Gold, Hunter's Dry was launched ten years later in 1998, and took the brand to even greater heights. In 2002 Hunter's Extreme an energy variant was launched followed shortly by the launch of Hunter's Hard Lemon in summer 2003. Hunter's Export launched in 2006 is the most recent addition to the Hunters range it's Extra Matured, Extra Smooth and best enjoyed served over ice. To date, Hunter's, with it's wide product range and broad appeal amongst people from all walks of life, continues to be one of South Africa's favourite premium cider.
